My journey in this field began many years ago. For over 40 years, I’ve been deeply involved in construction and property management. It’s more than just a career; it’s a passion that fuels my commitment to developing and maintaining valuable property assets.
Experience and Recognition
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of being recognized by my peers, earning a fellowship within the construction management sector The Chartered Institute Of Building, and I´m also a Fellow Of The Association For Project Management. This journey has taken me to various corners of the world, where I’ve participated in key international projects. Each project has played a crucial role in shaping my approach to management and collaboration within the industry.
A Collaborative Approach
I believe in a strong work ethic and a collaborative approach to contractual work. Building trust and exceeding expectations is paramount. My experience spans various contract types, including NEC, JCT, and FIDIC. However, I firmly believe that our moral duty extends beyond just fulfilling contractual obligations. It’s about working together to achieve the best possible outcome for all stakeholders involved.
Industry Insight and Accomplishments
Notable projects I’ve been involved in include a pioneering mixed-use development project in Azerbaijan and a significant railway contract within the Balkans, The Stratford International Extension of The Docklands Light Railway, and before that various large scale housing and mixed use developments such as Chelsea Harbour in London, and Hotel and Resort Developments in The Bahamas. These experiences have provided invaluable insights into the complexities of international property asset management.
